How do I download the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App?

To download the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App, simply click here and you will be automatically directed to the download page. You can also search “Gogreen Scooter Sharing” in both the App Store and Google Play Store.

Why does the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App ask for my GPS location?
The Gogreen Scooter Sharing App uses your GPS location to accurately show you Gogreen Scooters that are near you.
Why does the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App ask for camera access?
The Gogreen scooter sharing App uses your camera to enable scooter unlocking and locking via QR code scanning.
Why do I need to link my credit card?
Like other apps, we use temporary authorizations to confirm your payment card in order to setup an account with us. You are not typically charged for these authorizations. Authorizations amounts will be about the price of a ride. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us through our in-app or email to feedback@gogreenscootersharing.com
Can I register more than one Gogreen scooter with the same mobile device?
Your Account is personal to you and is not transferrable. You shall not authorise third parties to use your Account. Each user can only register one Gogreen account per mobile number per device. However, you can add the same payment card to different accounts. In the event you are found to possess more than one Account at any one time, Gogreen shall be entitled to terminate any additional Account(s) beyond your first account, with immediate effect and without any prior notice to you.
How do I find a Gogreen scooter near me?
To find a Gogreen scooter near you, simply open the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App. After login, you will see the built in map showing all the available Gogreen scooters in your area. If you do not see any scooter icons being displayed on the map, do zoom out to search a wider area.
How do I unlock a Gogreen scooter?
To unlock a Gogreen scooter, simply open the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App and look for the green scooter icon in the map. Proceed to the nearest scooter and tap on the ‘Unlock’ icon located on the bottom of the screen. Scan the QR code located on the Gogreen scooter to unlock and you are ready to start your ride.
How should I keep the Gogreen scooter secure if I wish to drop by a place for a quick errand?
You are advised to end the trip and park properly at the designated parking stations.
What is the minimum age to ride a Gogreen scooter?
The minimum age requirement is 18 years old. The mininum height requirement of user is 1.2m and the maximum weight on Gogreen scooter is 100kg.

What is the speed limit to ride a Gogreen scooter?

How do I operate the scooter?

You agree to comply with all applicable laws when using the Gogreeen scooter sharing service and you shall only use the Services for lawful purposes. You will not, in your use of the Services, cause nuisance, annoyance, inconvenience, or property damage, or injury/death to other persons.

You must be in good health condition for riding and to use the Gogreen Scooter Sharing service. Before using any Gogreen scooter, you must verify the safe operation of the e-scooter and satisfy yourself that you are able to operate it.

In addition, you shall read carefully and comply with all the information in the “How to Ride” and “Safety” in the Application.

The safety checks to conduct include, without limitation:

  • Effectiveness and functionality of the electric brakes and mechanical brakes;
  • Fit and flexibility of the handle bar;
  • Ensure that the headlights are working. Headlights must be turned on during the hours of darkness;
  • Effectiveness and functionality of throttle (or accelerate) button;
  • All light reflectors are in good working condition;
  • Ensuring that the e-scooter bell is working;
  • Ensuring that the e-scooter is free from any discernible defect that may affect the safe operation of e-scooter; and
  • Ensuring that the e-scooter is suitable for a person of your height, weight and build.

DO NOT USE THE e-scooter if it does not satisfy any of the above requirements or is otherwise unsafe for operation. In such event, you must also immediately notify us of (i) the registration number of the e-scooter in question; and (ii) the safety issues associated with that. It is your responsibility to ensure that you use, ride and operate the e-scooter safely at all times. You must be below 100kg in weight in order to operate the e-scooter.

Gogreen reserves the right to fine you or ban you from using our Services if you fail to follow any of the User Requirements and Conduct as stated in these Terms. Gogreen reserves the right to block or remove you from the Services without prior notice or consent from you.

You shall, at all times, when using the e-scooter:

  • obey all applicable laws and regulations (including those related to traffic, road safety and parking);
  • comply with the provisions of the Active Mobility Act, Act 3 of 2017 and all regulations thereunder as well as all applicable laws and regulations;
  • not use any mobile phone devices while riding;
  • not operate any e-scooter under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication or other substances that may impair the safe operation of the e-scooter;
  • not allow any other person (of any age or size) to be carried on the e-scooter at any time as the e-scooter is designed to carry only one rider;
  • ride in an orderly manner, with due regard for the safety of others;
  • not allow any other person to use the e-scooter which has been unlocked by you;
  • always stop to render assistance and exchange particulars when involved in an accident;
  • immediately report any accident to Gogreen via the feedback option in the Application or send an enquiry form through our Website with all the relevant information;
  • observe all applicable speed limits;
  • keep off the roads and other areas where the use of e-scooters is prohibited;
  • be responsible for all third-party liability caused directly or indirectly by you during the rental period;
  • seek shelter and stop using the e-scooter in the event of rain; and
  • exercise due care and reasonable judgment in the usage of the e-scooter.

In addition to the above, you are encouraged to wear all necessary safety gear (helmet, protective pads and proper shoes) to mitigate the risk of personal injury. At the end of the e-scooter usage, you shall always make sure that the trip has been ended properly in the Application. If you are unable to end the trip, you shall take a screenshot of the issue and contact us immediately via the feedback option in the Application or send an enquiry form through our website with all the relevant information.

You are responsible to pay any applicable fines, penalties or other fees which may be imposed by local authorities from time to time, arising out of your use of the e-scooter.

What is the User Requirement and Safety Checks?

Are there any Singapore laws concerning electric scooters that I should be aware of?
User are required to obey all applicable laws and regulations (including those related to traffic, road safety and parking) and comply with the provisions of the Active Mobility Act, Act 3 of 2017.
What is UL 2272?
UL is a world leader in product safety testing and certification and it has issued the first safety certification to the UL 2272 safety requirements for electrical systems of self-balancing scooters (aka hoverboards) that was launched in February 2016.
Good Rider Behavior
  • ALWAYS make sure to park with your scooter kickstand securely in down position so the scooter stays upright.
  • DO NOT park the scooter anywhere but only at Gogreen designated parking station shown on map in-app to end your trip.
  • DO NOT leave the scooter on the public right of way, pedestrian pavements, driveways, access ramps and etc.
  • DO NOT attempt to use Gogreen scooters without unlocking it through the app. Removing Gogreen scooters from the station without unlocking through a registered account on Gogreen Scooter Sharing app constitutes as theft and will be reported to the authorities.
Safety tips before riding
  • ONLY one rider per scooter is permitted.
  • SAFETY of riders and member of the community is always our top priority
  • SAFETY always comes first while riding
  • ALWAYS perform pre-ride safety check before riding.
  • ALWAYS report any defects detected through the APP
  • DO NOT ride faulty scooters if detected
  • DO NOT attempt to adjust settings on the dashboard of the scooter or any other parts of the scooter.
Safety tips when riding
  • ONLY kick forward with your foot to get the scooter going before pressing down the throttle
  • ONLY press down the throttle with right thumb to accelerate
  • ALWAYS slow down when encountering uneven surfaces like speed bumps, thresholds, holes, etc.
  • ALWAYS press down the brake tab with left thumb to slow down and use the foot brake at the same time to stop.
  • ALWAYS keep hands on handlebar when riding
  • ALWAYS keep both feet on footboard while riding
  • ALWAYS stop and look out at road crossings
  • ALWAYS look out for road obstructions
  • DO NOT ride with one hand, you may lose your balance or fall down or get injured.
  • DO NOT hang heavy stuff on handlebar or you may lose your balance.
  • DO NOT press throttle while walking.
  • DO NOT ride when it is raining
  • DO NOT approach pedestrians at a high speed.
Are Gogreen scooters safe?
Gogreen places safety as top priority. All Gogreen scooters meet the LTA PMD guidelines and is also UL2272 ceritified. Furthermore, all our scooters go through strict quality checks and monitoring.
Are helmets required?
You are advised to wear all necessary safety gears (helmet, protective pads and proper shoes) to mitigate the risk of personal injury. You are recommended to wear your own safety gears. Helmet rental is available at Gogreen Segway Station located at 51 Siloso Beach Walk, Sentosa.
Where can I ride a Gogreen Scooter?
To know where you can ride the gogreen scooter, simply open the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App. After login, you will see the built in map showing the designated riding zones which are highlighted in green. If you are out of the designated riding zones, your Gogreen scooter will only function as a manual kick scooter.
Can I ride Gogreen scooter at non-green zones shown on the map in-app?
You are encouraged to ride within the green zones shown on the map in-app. Power on the scooter will be cut off if you are out of the green zone and you will have to move to the green zone for power on the scooter to restore. Charges will continue to apply even when the power is cut off until you end trip and park at the designated parking stations shown on the map in-app.
Can I ride on the road?
Users have to keep off the roads and other areas where the use of e-scooters is prohibited at all times.
Can I ride in the rain?
We advise users to seek shelter and stop using the Gogreen scooter in the event of rain and exercise due care and reasonable judgment in the usage of the e-scooter.
Can I ride with my child?
We advise users not to allow any other person (of any age or size) to be carried on the Gogreen scooter at any time as the Gogreen scooter is designed to carry only one rider
Can I bring the Gogreen scooter home?
Users are not permitted to bring Gogreen scooters home as per agreed Terms of Use. Anyone found doing so will be investigated and and a police report will be lodged.
Can I modify the Gogreen scooter and add a seat or basket when I rent?
Users are strictly prohibited to make any modifications to the Gogreen scooters.
Can I use the Gogreen scooter sharing for commercial purposes?
Users can only use the Gogreen scooter for their own sole, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
How far can I travel on a Gogreen scooter?

You can only ride the Gogreen scooter within our operating zones, which are shaded in green on the map in-app. Our Gogreen scooters can reach a maximum range of 30-40km on a full charge which is approximately 2 to 3 hours of riding.

The maximum continuous rental time allowed of Gogreen scooter is four hours, after which Gogreen reserves the right to lock and retrieve the e-scooter and impose a retrieval fee (in addition to rental fees).

The Gogreen scooter must be returned to and parked at a designated parking location before its battery runs out.

Do not park (or leave unattended or abandon) Gogreen scooter in any area, space or manner that may contravene any applicable laws and/or regulations or which is not designated for the parking of e-scooter.

What happens if the Gogreen scooter runs out of battery halfway riding?

A battery status indicator is available on the LCD screen of the scooter. You are encouraged to return the scooter to the nearest designated parking station once the battery status is showing the last bar. The last bar should last you a riding distance of approximately 6-8km. Please note that you are required to end the trip and park at the designated parking locations.

If your Gogreen scooter runs out of battery before you arrive at the designated parking locations, you would need to use it as a manual kickscooter till you arrive at the desginated parking locations to end the trip and park the Gogreen scooter. The riding time will be charged till you end the trip at Gogreen designated parking locations.

I damaged/lost the Gogreen scooter? What should I do?
In the events you lost or damaged the Gogreen scooter or under your usage is confiscated by traffic police or any authority due to violating applicable law and regulations or you do not return the e-scooter to any Gogreen designated station and end trip within 24 hours of usage which is deemed as lost, please email us at feedback@gogreenscootersharing.com with your name, mobile number and email address for assistance.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
We advise users to always stop to render assistance and exchange particulars when involved in an accident. Immediately report any accident to Gogreen. Please email us at feedback@gogreenscootershairing.com with your name, mobile number, email and accident details.
How do I end my ride?

To find a Gogreen designated parking location near you, simply open the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App. After login, you will see the built in map showing all the available designated parking stations in your area after you tap on the green ‘P’ icon.

You are required to end the trip and park the Gogreen scooter only at Gogreen’s designated parking locations so that other users can also enjoy the use of the e-scooter. Simply go to the nearest Gogreen designated parking station, park the scooter within the parking lot, tap ‘End Trip’ at the bottom of the screen in the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App and scan the Parkign QR Code at the designated parking station to end the trip.

How do I identify a Gogreen designated parking station?
Designated parking stations are marked by an green 'P' icon on the in-app map. Your current location is indicated by a green dot on the map.
Where can I park a Gogreen Scooter?

To find a Gogreen designated parking location near you, simply open the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App. After login, you will see the built in map showing all the available designated parking stations in your area after you tap on the green ‘P’ icon.

You are required to end the trip and park the Gogreen scooter only at Gogreen’s designated parking locations so that other users can also enjoy the use of the e-scooter. Simply go to the nearest Gogreen designated parking station, park the scooter within the parking lot, tap ‘End Trip’ at the bottom of the screen in the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App and scan the Parkign QR Code at the designated parking station to end the trip.

If the location you parked at is not any of the Gogreen designated parking stations, you will not able to end your trip.

I cannot locate a Gogreen designated parking station or Gogreen scooter!

Ensure that your:

  1. Mobile data is switched on
  2. Set location settings ON for Gogreen Scooter Sharing App
  3. Zoom out of the map in-app
  4. Power off your device first, then power ON after 5 seconds and access Gogreen app

If you are still unable to locate the station/scooter, reach out to us via in-app feedback.

Do not park (or leave unattended or abandon) Gogreen scooter in any area, space or manner that may contravene any applicable laws and/or regulations or which is not designated for the parking of e-scooter.

The parking station is too dark and I cannot scan the QR code. What should I do?
There is a torchlight function that you can tap to use in the QR code scanning interface in-app. If your phone do not have a torch-light, take a photo and submit your feedback in-app.
What happens if I park the Gogreen scooter at non-designated parking locations?

It is your responsibility to end the trip and park the Gogreen scooter in an orderly fashion, and only in Gogreen’s designated parking locations so that other users can also enjoy the use of the Gogreen scooter.

Do not park (or leave unattended or abandon) Gogreen scooter in any area, space or manner that may contravene any applicable laws and/or regulations or which is not designated for the parking of e-scooter.

If you park the e-scooter at non-Gogreen designated locations or in any public area, you may be liable to pay a service charge/penalty. You will also not be able to end the trip and rental charges will continue to apply.

Why are some designated parking locations marked in green and other marked in red?
When the Gogreen designated parking location is in green, it means that there are available parking lot(s) for you to return the Gogreen scooter at that location. When the Gogreen designated parking location is in red, it means that the parking lots are all full and you are not allowed to return at that location.
Is there a deposit required?
No deposit is required. Only $1 non refundable kick start fee to unlock and $2 for every 30 minutes. Charges shall be as published and updated from time to time. At the end of each trip, the trip fare will be deducted from your Gogreen wallet automatically.
How will I be charged?
You will be asked to link your credit or debit card to your in-app wallet. There is no deposit required. Once you end the trip at Gogreen designated parking locations, payment will be deducted automatically from your wallet.
How long can I rent a Gogreen scooter?

What are the modes of payment I can use?
Gogreen Scooter Sharing App accepts most credit cards and debit cards. At the end of each trip, the trip fare will be deducted from your Gogreen wallet automatically.
Can I ask for a refund if I am wrongfully billed at the end of the trip?
You can submit for a refund appeal through our in-app or email to feedback@gogreenscootersharing.com within 24 hours. Kindly provide us your name, mobile number, email, time, date, last known location at the end of trip, nature of your appeal and photos to help us with the refund process.
I park the scooter at the parking station but why am I still being charged after that?
Upon parking the scooter at the designated parking station, you must tap end trip in-app at the bottom of the screen in the Gogreen Scooter Sharing App and scan the Parking QR code to end the trip. Charges will continue to apply if users does not end the trip by scanning the Parking QR code within the designated Gogreen parking stations.
How long does it take for me to get my refund?
Depending on the nature of your appeal, the process will take up to 14 working days.
How do you process my refund appeal?
Upon requesting for the refund, we only require your name, mobile number & email for us to verify your account. We will require the time and date, location and a photo if any to verify the nature of your appeal. The process should take no more than 24 hours.
When and where do I submit a refund request?
All refund appeal must be submitted within 24 hours to feedback@gogreenscootersharing.com. Kindly provide us your name, mobile number, email, time, date, last known location at the end of trip, nature of your appeal to help us with the refund process. We recommend you to submit supporting photos and screenshots our verification purpose.
Can I unlock the Gogreen scooter using my account and allow my friend to use as he does not have a credit card?
Your Account is personal to you and is not transferrable. You shall not authorise third parties to use your Account. You shall not allow any other person to use the Gogreen scooter, which has been unlocked by you. We advise your friend to set up his own Gogreen account. Same payment card can be applied to different user accounts.
I received a fine from the authorities regarding my usage of the Gogreen scooter. What should I do?
You are responsible to pay any applicable fines, penalties or other fees, which may be imposed by local authorities from time to time, arising out of your use of Gogreen scooter. Why is my account banned?
You might have violated the Terms of Use. Please email us at feedback@gogreenscootershairing.com with your name, mobile number, email for assistance.
Why do you send me short message service (SMS)?
By creating an Account, you agree that Gogreen and its partners may send you informational short message service as part of the normal business operation of your use of the Gogreen Scooter Sharing Services. Should you have questions about receiving such text messages from Gogreen, you may contact Gogreen through feedback@gogreenscootersharing.com. You acknowledge that opting out of receiving such text messages may impact your use of the Gogreen Scooter Sharing Services.
Who pays for my data network?
You are responsible for obtaining and paying for the data network access necessary to use the Services. Your mobile network’s data and messaging rates and fees may apply if you access or use the Services from a wireless-enabled device and you shall be responsible for such rates and fees. You are responsible for acquiring and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Services and Application and any updates thereto. Gogreen does not guarantee that the Services, or any portion thereof, will function on any particular hardware or devices. In addition, the Services may be subject to malfunctions and delays inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications.
